About D'ARTAGNAN
The sailing yacht D’ARTAGNAN is a high-performance Open 50 racing yacht, built by ALP COMPOSITES and designed by renowned naval architects BERRET RACOUPEAU. Launched in 2002 and extensively refitted in 2013, 2022, and most recently in 2025, she is now presented in outstanding racing condition, ready to compete at the highest level.
Specifically designed for single-handed and double-handed offshore racing, D’ARTAGNAN stands out for her efficiency, reliability, and ease of handling. Her clean deck layout and optimized ergonomics allow sailors to manage maneuvers smoothly, even in demanding offshore conditions. This yacht has already proven her capabilities by securing an impressive 4th place in the Route du Rhum 2022.
Built in advanced carbon and glass composite, D’ARTAGNAN combines lightness and strength for maximum speed and performance. She is equipped with a canting keel system and twin rudders, delivering exceptional stability and control at high speeds. Her carbon rig (Z SPAR mast and NORDIC boom) and powerful sail plan—up to 190 m² upwind and 350 m² downwind—ensure outstanding performance across all sailing conditions.
The yacht benefits from a full suite of modern navigation electronics, including NKE and SIMRAD systems, autopilots, radar, and advanced navigation software, making her perfectly suited for long-distance offshore racing and transatlantic challenges.
Inside, D’ARTAGNAN offers functional and lightweight accommodation tailored for racing, including multiple berths, a central navigation station, and a compact galley. Every detail is designed to balance comfort and performance during extended passages.
The comprehensive 2025 refit includes a new engine, upgraded rigging, renewed deck equipment, and modernized energy systems such as solar panels and hydro generator. This makes D’ARTAGNAN a rare opportunity on the Open 50 market—fully optimized and race-ready.
